Boise Here We Come

It's official that we are headed to Boise! Joel just found out this morning that he got a job up there. It will be a great opportunity for him and for our family to live up there. I can't wait for the adventure of a new city and a new place. I am not looking forward to packing because I HATE doing that. And then to top it all off we already have a WAY busy month from packing and moving to getting ready for our cruise and then we are headed to Logan for the last hearing of the Dr. Lyman trial. What a busy and stressful time. We will make it through. My mom said she would fly out to help me which means so much to me. I love her!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

My sweet dad turned 60 today!!! I can't believe he's that old!!! Time flies by so fast. I can't believe it. I just want my dad to know how much I love and appreciate him so so much!!! Thanks dad for all the great talks that we had that got me through high school and for all the fun times and trips and every other great memory with you in my life. I love you daddy and I'll always be your little girl no matter how old I get!!!

I'm Naughty!

I don't know if it's because she just turned 2, or cuz she thinks she needs attention, or even just a "Peyton thing!" Peyton has been acting so bad this last week and is really testing my mothering skills and patience. She is constantly doing things that she knows are bad and then running to where I am and saying "I'm Naughty!" Obviously she knows she is being naughty and just wants to see my reaction. I really hope this passes soon!!

Two Years Old!!

Peyton turned 2 yesterday and on Saturday we had a fun party!! We headed to Logan Saturday morning where lots of family and friends were there to celebrate Peyton's Birthday. She got a ton of fun things. And a ton of cute clothes!!! It was great to be able to spend time with all our family while we were there and have my parents come all the way from Washington just to be there!!! It really means lot to us when people travel to come to her party. My sister and her family came up from Lehi and Grandma Biggs came from Brigham City. Thanks to everyone who was there to share such a wonderful day with us!!!

Will you Be my Valentine?

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!! Hopefully everyone has some great plans for tonight to go out or do some romantic at home. I know my night will be hanging out at my aunts house waiting for my parents to arrive and ordering pizza when they get here!!! Doesn't that sound romantic enough?

I love Valentines day where you can put the one you love on a peddlestool and let them know how much you love them!!! I might not say it enough in my daily battles and duties of a mom but I want Joel to know how much I love him and appreciate all that you do for our family.
I remember the first time I saw Joel at King Henry Apartments down in Provo, Utah!!! That seems like a lifetime ago. He was wearing his blue King Henry shirt and jeans with holes in them and paint all over them as well. I will never forget the feeling that I got when I first saw Joel standing in my apartment holding his clipboard evaluating our apartment. He had no idea who I even was and was just doing his job. From that exact moment I remember telling my roommates I was going to marry him. They all laughed and that it was so funny that I would say something like that when I didn't even know his name!!! Well it took me almost two months of hard work before I ever got to meet Joel!!! And from that first date on May 20, 2003 we have been so in love ever since!!!

I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband who cares so much for his family. Joel I know right now it's been really hard with everything and you have been so stressed out and depressed but I want you to know that I am going to stick by your side and help you along the way. Something will work out for our family and soon the long journey will be done. I love you so much and hope you will be my Valentine today!!!!!!!!!

A Daily Activity

Peyton is now in the stage where she HAS to do everything herself. Her favorite thing she does herself is getting dressed every morning. She just loves to do it and trys so so very hard to do it herself. Most days her shirts are on backwards!! It is cute to see how hard she tries to get dressed!!! O and the shoes she is wearing in this picture she puts on almost everyday which would be fine if they weren't 2 sizes to small. Her foot has to be crushed in them.

I just have to laugh

It seems like the other Peyton gets the funnier she gets and along with that an attitude. Yesterday I told her we were going to leave and that she needed to get clothes on before we go. I was finishing up getting ready when she came running in dressed in this!!! I guess she thought all she need to go out with was a coat and her slippers!!!

Why do kids do what they do?

The other day I was on the computer, which is in our bedroom, and suddenly Peyton came running into the bedroom. She smelled like poop and just keep saying "O NO!" I figured she had just pooped in her diaper and I didn't really pay too much attention when she first came in. Because many times in the day she runs in saying "O NO!" about everything. I just wanted to hurry and finsish what I was doing then change her. Peyton then again said "O NO!" And then said "NO NO NO!" And by this time she pulled my hand away from the computer to pull me away. I got a really strong smell of poop and it felt like something was all over her hand. I looked down at her again and saw no pull up on her and saw poop every where.

I went running into the living room to find she had taken off her pull up and pooped on the carpet. To make things worse I think she thought it was something to play with because she had poop smeared into the carpet and on the leather ottomen. Not to mention she had it all over her feet and hands and I had little poop foot prints all the way down my hall. What a mess it was to clean up!!

Alexa Dawn Leavitt

The long awaited Alexa is finally here. My best friend Nicole finally had her beautiful little girl. Nicole was always use to having preemie babies so when 38 weeks rolled around she felt miserable because she was use to delivering at 35!! Well her doc induced her yesterday and later that night she had her!!! Nicole she is beautiful and I can't wait to see her in just 6 days!!! Once again you did great work!!! Congratulations!!

Shabby Baby

I just wanted to share this awesome line of clothes that is now up in running. These two sisters that I know very well and grew up with just opened a line called Sabby Baby. The launched it on the Shabby Apple website. The dresses are amazing and so creative!!! Katie and Alisa you guys did a breathtaking job!!! I can't wait to purchases one for Peyton!!

Sick.......

Peyton and I have come down with a nasty cold. We have been so sick and miserable. Peyton actually has had her cold since Friday and I just came down with mine this morning. I really thought I wasn't going to get it but unfortunately I did. I wish I could just take a whole day and sleep. But with a demanding 2 year old it makes it a little hard to do any kind of resting.
