It's Official!

Yes you read my title correctly.....now you may be asking yourself what's official. Joel is now the newest employee for Geico. We have been waiting patiently for the answer that he got the job. Even though Joel had great confidence the is always that chance they might go with someone else. Joel's starting date for his new job is December 8th. There are pros and cons to all jobs and the first and biggest con to his new job is that he leaves Peyton and I on December 7th for almost 4 months for major training in AZ.......YIKES!!! I ask myself how am I going to do it without him, I still don't have the answer to that one but I'm just hoping the time will fly by fast. He still isn't sure what his plans are for Christmas since they haven't really told him. He has heard 3 different stories #1 you get a week off to fly home, #2 you get to fly home Christmas Eve night and fly back to AZ Christmas night, #3 you get to stay at training in AZ while your family enjoys Christmas without you! I am really hoping for the first one. I will keep you posted.

Joel is so excited for his new job and can't wait to get started. He just wishes he could start sooner.

Happy Anniversary!

Today marks 4 years that Joel and I have been married. I can't believe how fast time goes by. I feel like I have known Joel my whole life!! It has been a great 4 years and I look forward to LOTS more. Thanks honey for still rocking my world!!!!

Will you Be my Valentine?

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!! Hopefully everyone has some great plans for tonight to go out or do some romantic at home. I know my night will be hanging out at my aunts house waiting for my parents to arrive and ordering pizza when they get here!!! Doesn't that sound romantic enough?

I love Valentines day where you can put the one you love on a peddlestool and let them know how much you love them!!! I might not say it enough in my daily battles and duties of a mom but I want Joel to know how much I love him and appreciate all that you do for our family.
I remember the first time I saw Joel at King Henry Apartments down in Provo, Utah!!! That seems like a lifetime ago. He was wearing his blue King Henry shirt and jeans with holes in them and paint all over them as well. I will never forget the feeling that I got when I first saw Joel standing in my apartment holding his clipboard evaluating our apartment. He had no idea who I even was and was just doing his job. From that exact moment I remember telling my roommates I was going to marry him. They all laughed and that it was so funny that I would say something like that when I didn't even know his name!!! Well it took me almost two months of hard work before I ever got to meet Joel!!! And from that first date on May 20, 2003 we have been so in love ever since!!!

I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband who cares so much for his family. Joel I know right now it's been really hard with everything and you have been so stressed out and depressed but I want you to know that I am going to stick by your side and help you along the way. Something will work out for our family and soon the long journey will be done. I love you so much and hope you will be my Valentine today!!!!!!!!!

Who Does Peyton look like?

I have always been told how much Peyton looks so so much like me. When People saw that I tell them I think she looks a lot like Joel too. People always say that they think she looks way more like me and not Joel. Well This right here puts a stop to it!! I went to this great site and uploaded some pictures of us and they said that we are equal!! Everyone needs to try this is they have kids!! Twin Falls County Fair

Today we had a great day with my aunt and uncle. We went to the Twin Falls County Fair. Growing up my mom always talked about the Twin Falls Fair and how fun it is. She would always tell us it's the best fair ever. It was a lot of fun but I don't know if it's my favorite fair ever. I think my favorite one is the Puyallup Fair.

We took a few pictures of our fun day. Peyton's two favorite things were the pony rides and feeding the animals!!

I think Peyton had a lot of fun. I also think my aunt and unlce had a great time seeing Peyton having a great time and being so funny with all the animals!!

Canyon Trails

Today after Joel, Peyton, and I were sitting around bored we decided to go to the trails over by the visitor center. The trail is called Canyon Trail. It was perfect weather, 86 degrees with a 15mph wind!! So it was so nice with a slight breeze.

We had a lot of fun. There is the famous canyon here in Twin Falls were Evil Knievel tried to jump across. And the Perrine Bridge that is here where people jump off it! Today we actually got to see some people jump. What a rush that must be for them. I don't think I could ever do that.

We'll we all had fun on your little walk to the canyon. It was great to get out and get some sun as well as exercise!

Happy Anniversary!

Three years ago today was such a wonderful day. Three years ago today was Friday the 13th of August. Most people are scared of such a day being Friday the 13th and all but I read somewhere that things that happen on such a day last FOREVER!!

Well I know it hasn't been forever but it has been 3 years of marriage for Joel and I. I just wanted to share with everyone all the wonderful things about Joel and all the crazy things that have happened in the last three years of marriage.

Some of my favorite things about Joel are as follow:

• A very dedicated and hard worker





• An expert when it comes to video games





• Has a great sense of humor and that gets better with time





• Loving husband who puts up with ME





• Very smart





• Very neat and tidy





• And my most favorite is that he is all MINE

Some of the things that have happened in the last 3 years

• We have moved a total of 4 times





• Have bought a condo





• Sold a condo in 3 days





• Moved out of state





• Had a beautiful daughter





• Joel graduated from college





• Joel got a great job with Enterprise





• Tegan started back to school





• Tegan had her tonsils out





• Bought a brand new 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

So many things have changed and I know only more things will change in the future. I just want Joel to know how much I love and appreciate him for all he does from me. I love him more and more everyday. Even though we might not always agree on everything and there are times we fight I think it's only natural!! I LOVE YOU JOEL AND CAN'T WAIT TO CONTINUE OUR LIVES TOGETHER!!

Sherwood Hills

Well this last weekend Joel and I spent a fun and romantic getaway up at Sherwood Hills. We had a lot of fun and it was a nice treat to have a night to ourselves without Peyton.

Joel and I had been to Sherwood about two years ago for our anniversary. It was fun that time too. If you ever feel you need to get away and just don't know where to go you should definitely check this place out. And they always have great specials as well!!

Happy Birthday Joel!

I just wanted to take a second this morning to say happy birthday to my sweet husband. Today is his gold birthday, because he is turning 24 years old on the 24th of May. We have plans to go out for his birthday tonight which should be a lot of fun. I adore Joel so very much. Some of the things that I love so much about him are

• He listens to my problems even if he doesn't want to

I could continue the list on and on. I truly love Joel so much and with everyday I feel like it just grows more and more!! Joel I hope you have a great day today on your birthday!!

Moving

Well Joel and I are moving!! We just found out today that Joel got the position in Twin Falls and he is taking it!! We are really excited for the change but at the same time very sad to move away from the family. We just have to sell our condo which I am very very sad to sell because of all the hard work we have put into it. But hopefully we will be able to get the money back out of it. Well we will be leaving in two weeks. But we will be back to Logan often to see family!!

Twin Falls??

Well Joel and I might be on the move to Twin Falls. Joel put in for a job there as a manager. He will be finding out on Friday so we have been on edge and both having anxiety about it all. We just don't know what we will do with our condo and are just waiting and waiting till we know for sure if he got the job!! He thinks he will. He has a pretty good feeling about it. Joel deserves it because he is such a hard worker and is always trying to better himself at work!! I love and appreciate all that he does for our family!
