Potty Time

So here we go with the potty train. I was talking to my neighbor this weekend and she we was telling me how she trained her kids to go potty on the toliet. Both her kids were trained by 18 months. Now that Peyton is 20 months I think it's time to really start. She has been showing signs that she is ready by waking up with a dry diaper from naps and from night. It's not dry every single morning up I think that is normal. So this weekend we all went to the store to buy some pull-ups and some panties!! We tried to make it a big deal so that Peyton would get excited. We let her pick out some cute panties. Her first pick was the Happy Feet panties and then we told her to pick one more, so she decided to pick the my little pony ones. She was so excited and carried them around the whole time at the store!!

Today when she woke up with a dry diaper I hurried and put her on the toliet thinking she has to go pee!! Well after about two minutes she peed in the potty. She was so excited and was clapping and saying "yes, yes, yes!" I think she was very proud of herself. So my chore everyday is to take her every 30 mins. Until she can tell me she has to go potty!! I will keep you posted on how things are going. Today is the first day so check back tomorrow to see how it went!

Carving Pumpkins

Well tonight we had the neighbors over for hot cider and doughnuts!! We also carved up some very cute pumpkins. We had a lot of fun tonight although Peyton was being very very naughty. I think she has been naughty all day today!! Hope you like the pictures of our slide show!! I just have to add in here that the ghost one is mine, and the weird looking one that is a palm tree and a flamingo that one is Joel's. The other two are our neighbor kids!!!

Sharpie

Look at that face!! She looks so innocent!!

I can not believe what a 20 months old little girl can do in about 5 mins time. Peyton must have snuck into the kitchen and grab a sharpie from the junk drawer, because I don't know where else she would have found one.

Here she is knocking the bathroom door. She knew she need to get cleaned up because of the mess she made!

It looks like Peyton had a lot of fun with the sharpie. From coloring all over her chair, her face, her clothes, and my leather ottoman. When I saw this my first reaction was "NO!" Then I started to laugh and take pictures. I was on the phone with my mom and so deep in conversation that I didn't realize what she had done until I noticed she wasn't making any noise at all. I guess that is the first sign that your child is doing something naughty. Peyton's poor chair now has to go away.......it looks like it came from the D.I. which it actually came from Target and was a gift from my neighbor to her. And my poor ottoman, I got most of the sharpie off but it's now a little discolored due to the nail polish remover that I tried on it.


I guess people with kids just shouldn't have nice things. It doesn't matter how careful you are something will always happen or get ruined with little ones!!

20 Months Old

Well yesterday Peyton marked 20 months old. I can't believe in as little as 4 months she will be 2. Time has gone by so so fast. On Monday when we were in Logan Peyton had her check up. We were 2 months late since it was suppose to be for her 18 month check and shot. But since we have moved we haven't found a pediatrician like Dr. McKenna. So we decided to take her back there. I thought I would just fill you in on how much she has grown. She is in the 90th percentile for her height she is 34 inches!! And for her weight she is in the 70th percentile weighing in at only 26 pounds. I guess she will be tall and skinny!! Lucky her

New Makeup

Today I am getting all new makeup. I don't remember the last time I went out and bought nice makeup. Lately I have just been getting by with what I have but Joel decided I go out and get some new stuff. It always feels better when your husband actually gives you permission to buy something because then I don't feel so guilty. I love clinique makeup. It my favorite!! Cruising in April

Yes you heard me correctly......we will be cruising in April. Joel and I will be leaving on the 12th of April for a 7 night cruise. We will be going with most of my family!! I believe there will be a total of 15 of my family members. Did I mention that nobody is bringing kids?? Yes that is also correct!! No kids for a whole week on a vacation worth wild. I can't wait and just wanted to share with everyone how excited we are. It's time for vacation!

Who Does Peyton look like?

I have always been told how much Peyton looks so so much like me. When People saw that I tell them I think she looks a lot like Joel too. People always say that they think she looks way more like me and not Joel. Well This right here puts a stop to it!!
