Duet......

I had to share this funny video of my little brother Taylor and his roommate Austin. When these two are together they are so hilarious and are SO much alike. They make great roommates!!! Austin has been teaching Taylor to play his guitar a lot better and they have been writing songs together too. This song is actually one of Taylor Swifts. These two make me laugh so hard when they are around but they acutally sound like of good together.......enjoy!

Peyton Locked in the Car

Last Thursday was a new experience I thought I would never have to go through! I went to pick Peyton up from daycare and had to get her car seat strapped back into my car. While I was strapping it in Peyton was up front pretending to drive having fun. I got it strapped back in and asked Peyton to crawl back so I could get her buckled in. She was all in and ready to go!!

I then shut Peyton's door and tried to open mine. The door was locked. So I tried Peyton's door, it was locked. I tried the rest and they were all locked. When Peyton was playing around up front she must have hit the lock button. The worst thing about it was I didn't even have my phone because it was in the car. I had to run back inside the daycare and get a phone to call Joel at work. Joel wasn't answering his cell or work. I finally got ahold of him and told him the situation. Jodie, Peyton's sitter, told me to hold up the phone to the car and have Joel push the unlock button. We tried that for like 5 mins and it wasn't working. So Joel said he was leaving and that he would get there as soon as he can. With traffic it can take him 30 mins to get to where I was.

Peyton was doing okay but looked a little nervous. Jodie lives next door to a locks smith. So her husband when over and told him what was going on. The lock smith came over and worked for about 15 mins to get the car unlocked. Finally the doors were unlocked!!! Luckily the lock smith didn't charge me his high fee of 100 bucks!!!

A Daily Activity

Peyton is now in the stage where she HAS to do everything herself. Her favorite thing she does herself is getting dressed every morning. She just loves to do it and trys so so very hard to do it herself. Most days her shirts are on backwards!! It is cute to see how hard she tries to get dressed!!! O and the shoes she is wearing in this picture she puts on almost everyday which would be fine if they weren't 2 sizes to small. Her foot has to be crushed in them.

That time of year

It seems to be that time of year where you are always making yummy treats and taking them around to family and friends. Well yesterday we had our neighbors over for dinner and then decorated sugar cookies. We all had so much fun. I got everything earlier in the day time by preparing the dough and making all the frosting. Peyton even helped me and got mad when I wouldn't let her hold the hand mixer all by herself. By the time we were done making the frosting I had red and green frosting all over my kitchen. What a mess it was but how fun it is to bake with Peyton!! Here are some of the pictures I took of yesterday. Peyton got to lick a beater with frosting and was so excited. After she was done with it, she licked it so clean it looked like it had just come out of the wash!!!

She still looks pretty clean her in this picture. She was just getting started!

Like I said she was so excited to eat this she even took a quick second to smile at the camera!

By the time she was done it was all over her face, hands, and clothes!! It almost looked like she was bleeding. Maybe I should have given her the green one!!

Gitty Up!!

Ever since I brought those cute pink cowgirl boots home all Peyton ever wants to wear is those and nothing else!! Every morning when she gets out of the tub she runs to her room and tries to get her boots done from the armoire that they are in. And if she doesn't get to wear them she throws a huge fit and screams. I think the boots are pretty cute myself, but she needs to understand you can't just wear them and nothing else!!

Can you say tired?

Well let me start off by saying that Peyton has been going through a really bad phase right now. It all started about two weeks ago. She has a problem with not wanting to go to bed at night. And she has a problem with not wanting to take a nap either.

I am not sure what has changed and why she doesn't want to sleep because she has always been such a great sleeper. Well with her not taking naps like she should be this is what happens when dinner time rolls around at night. Once that little belly is full she is out!! I can't even believe she fell asleep in her high-chair!! I really hope she gets out of this phase soon!! It is wearing her out! O am me too!!
